          preservation organizations in North Carolina.  See the
          properties that thanks to the HLS have been rescued and are
          now revered as part of Hickory’s enduring historic legacy.

Catawba County Historical Museum:  See how people furnished their homes long ago.  Learn when Hickory was settled and how it has evolved since the early 19^th century.
